This fun 6-hour workshop lays the foundation for a lifetime of successful yeast bread baking. In it, we bring the innovative approach of our online course to an in-person experience like no other. We present key concepts through brief instructional videos and casual lectures, and students immediately apply what they've learned in hands-on, mostly edible learning activities. And for the first time, we’re hosting this event in the founder’s kitchen. Students will receive highly personalized, small group instruction in the place where it all began.

Irresistibly Engaging Activities Include:

  • Take & Bake Focaccia Artistry

  • Molecular Modeling

  • Essential Techniques

  • Enlightening Investigations

  • Craft-Your-Own Calzones

We’ll provide all ingredients and supplies—including lunch!

  • Ages: 10 to 18

  • Date: Thursday, November 10

  • Time: 10 am to 4 pm

  • Location: Danielsville, 20 minutes northeast of Athens (Address and directions will be sent to registrants.)

  • Space is limited. Early enrollment is encouraged.
